For the Kids

Start children off on the way they should go,
and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

Proverbs 22:6

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
Dueteronomy 6:5-9

For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just, so that the Lord will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him.”

Genesis 18:19

Unless the Lord builds the house,
    the builders labor in vain.

Psalm 127:1

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16

I have hidden your word in my heart
that I might not sin against you.
Psalm 119:11

Diligently teaching our children about God is so important. It is up to us to raise them the way that they should go. We should be constantly talking about God to our children and showing them the love of God.  We must show Jesus to them in all that we do.

This is where I will post some of the little things that we do in our home to keep the kids busy and learning something about God.

Soon to come will be a link party so that you can link up and share some of your own activities.
