Tiny Tip Tuesday

Here is a little Tip I received today from a brilliant woman of God who has been an incredible Sunday School Teacher her whole life, and a Preschool Teacher for 15 years.

  • You shouldn't let you toddlers use markers, crayons do more for their development of fine motor skills.  If you break the crayons into small, 1 inch or slightly larger, pieces, your child will have an easier time developing the proper skills for holding a pencil.

Great to know.

  1. This is a brilliant tip! My 16 month old always holds all utensils (pencils, spoons, etc.) by the very tip, so of course he can't control them very well. But this idea makes so much sense! Thanks for sharing :)

I run a blog hop called Tiny Tip Tuesday and would love it if you came by and shared this post with us! :)
